BLIK / BLOOM

The March edition of BLIK constituted a joint publication with the University College Utrecht’s student magazine The Boomerang. In a one-time only, limited edition of BLOOM the apparent contrasting spheres of academics and journalism were joint together. This resulted in an eclectic collection of article ranging from a forthright report by spiritual counsellor Henk Fonteyn concerning his experiences in Afghanistan and a study of Islamic Hiphop. De clash between journalism and academics is best illustrated by the interview with renowned media theorist Richard Grusin.
